Shannon Parker Taing is an LA-based audiobook narrator with an MFA in Acting from American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, CA. She trained in improv and sketch at UCBNY for nearly 8 years, where she performed on a house sketch team. She also holds a BFA in Theater from University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with honors for writing an original biographical play exploring life in a multicultural household. 

Her performance background blends classical training with a strong foundation in comedy, character work, and storytelling. Shannon brings a dynamic, character-driven voice with a keen sensitivity to tone and perspective. She is especially drawn to fantasy, romance, and historical fiction, with a strong ear for rhythm and a particular aptitude for accents. 

When not in the booth, she can be found trying to convince her book club to read monster romance, watching old TCM movies or chasing down the perfect cup of tea.
